Tryout Process
Tryouts for the upcoming season will take place over consecutive weekends, beginning with the "AAA" and "AA" levels. Each level will have it's own dedicated tryout weekend, to ensure every player is evaluated thoroughly and fairly.
Our most competitive teams will be selected with the assistance of independent evaluators, along with representatives from Pineville Ice House and Extreme Ice Center, to provide a transparent and unbiased evaluation process.
Following each tryout, players will be notified of their status via email. Those who are offered roster spots, will have 48 hours to accept their offer letter and submit their non-refundable deposit to secure their position on the team.
A sizing day will be scheduled for the following week, allowing players to try on and order all required apparel for the upcoming season.
One week after "AA" tryouts conclude, all "A" level tryouts will be held, at each facility, Extreme Ice Center (XIC) and Pineville Ice House (PIH). During registration, families should select the rink where they would prefer to play for the season, as players should attend tryouts at their selected location.
Players selected for A-level teams will receive email notifications, followed by dedicated sizing days scheduled in the days immediately after tryouts.
Important Note on Tryout Progression:
If a player is not selected for a designated team at the initial level they try out for, an email will be sent offering the opportunity to transfer the registration to the next tryout level (for example, from AAA to AA, AA to A) at no additional cost. The $200 tryout fee is a one-time fee and covers participation across all applicable tryout levels and facilities.
